Chase and Weekes talked about the transformation of the team to become harder to play against. Both were very clear that Scott should dress most every game and just being there will have a huge impact on the the rest of the team and how teams treat them. They referenced the impact Dave Semenko had on opposing teams. The rest of the players will have a little less to worry about and be a bit more mentally focused, and fresh for the playoffs. They like the change from a "redundant" lineup of mostly smaller skilled palyers to a mix of skill and physical players.
Oh yeah, I read Bob Mac tweet about this earlier and was gonna see if there's video on I don't agree that Scott should dress most every game, especially if Grigorenko is on the team. Scratching Gerbe or Kaleta to play Scott with Hecht, Gerbe/Kaleta is a waste of talent. Something more like 1/3rd of games sounds more reasonable. Now, if Hecht has to play on the 3rd line due to no Grigorenko and you have an Ellis or McCormick on the 4th line with Kaleta/Gerbe, maybe it makes a bit more sense to tank that line a bit more often.
