My understanding is with the amnesty they can get rid of Thomas' contract all together regardless of the fact that it's a 35 and older contract. It'll be very interesting to see what they do with him.
Anyway, just a horrible horrible article. They talk about all the players will lose to free agency because of the cap and then follow it up with how we still won't be able to afford bergeron. Just pathetic.
