Actually Brittain didn't lose the job because of his injury. In fact, he was expected to be Denver's #1 (or co-#1) when the season began. As I mentioned in my previous post, Brittain played really well when he did return from his injury late late season. He lost the #1 job this season because, as mentioned already, he wasn't as consistent as Olkinuora has been to this point. Had Brittain shown the same level of consistency this season as he had when he returned from injury last season and his freshman year before that, he'd be the #1 guy right now.
