My thinking is, while using the Hossa and Kovy trades as comparables, that both are now widely considered underpayments. Hossa was traded after Kovy and got a significantly better return IMO. Thus, I would be inclined to believe that the return for Perry would be better than the Hossa return. Of course, this is all clear speculation on my part, but odds are that the amount of teams in the running for Perry would be higher because of the shortened season which I expect to condense the standings more than a full season. Then again, getting 25 or so games out of Perry compared to 45 or so may sway the value as well.
