I have a very old slingbox. When I got a new modem I can watch the sling from inside my house but not when I'm travelling. Any idea why? I used to have a modem and router but now it's both in one box.

I have a slingbox (classic). My mom lives out of state. She watches Sacramento Kings games using one of my lesser used directv receivers. Free for her...$6.00 a month for me for the directv reciever, but I'd have it anyway. The $200 I spent on the slingbox nearly 10 years ago has easily got its use.

If you travel much at all, a slingbox (or like device) is so worth it. Their brand new models do 1080i streams I think...

anyway, waiting for some friggin center ice news here...I'd almost consider gamecenter, but the 24 delay is too harsh for me.
