I just read more about it. Some girl he talked to a lot online and on the phone was then reported dead by herself, and so he said he lost two women he loved and he will see them again one day, and would talk about her like it was a real serious relationship.
So he is either a naive little kid embarrassed to admit to an online relationship or an attention ***** who could've avoided the whole situation by saying "no, she wasn't my gf."
