Smith really wasn't that noticable that game besides the shootout, that move was a thing of beauty. He made a few decent passes, but besides that he didn't look like the the 3rd highest WHL scorer or a prospect to get excited about. He seemed to have good game sense, but damn he looked small out there.
Not saying this is how he plays regularly, as it was only one game. My guess is it was an off game.

I watched him when they came to play the royals earlier on in the season (that game also went into a shootout
). The game I watched I noticed his quickness and some creativity, he had a couple points I think but nothing too special, maybe the royals just bring out the worst in him?
