Some interesting players who have made, or are close to making their individual rosters.

ANAHEIM: Is taking a roster on the road that includes junior eligible Richard Rakell, Sami Vatanen and Jordan Hendry (who hasn't played for in the NHL since 2010-11) with Frederik Andersen as their back-up. Either Vatanen or Hendry could still go down to the AHL (Hendry cleared waivers earlier this week while Vatanen isn't waiver eligible), while Andersen could go down with Viktor Fasth being recalled.

BOSTON: Though they have yet to make their final cuts, the fact that he wasn't on waivers today seems to indicate Chris Bourque (who hasn't played a game in the NHL since 2009-10) has made the Bruins. Jay Pandolfo, on a try-out, is also still in the mix.

BUFFALO: T.J. Brennan looks to have made the team over the much more experienced Adam Pardy.

CALGARY: Though I'd imagine they'll likely be sent to the AHL tomorrow, it's quite a feat for Ben Street and Chris Breen to still be in Flames camp. Three camp invites, Brad Winchester, Steve Begin and Steve McCarthy remain in the mix.

CAROLINA: Bob Sanguinetti looks to have made the team and has been shifted on the 3rd pairing throughout camp.

CHICAGO: Brandon Saad appears to have made the team.

COLORADO: Agitator/Brawler Patrick Bordeleau has made the team

FLORIDA: With the release of Marek Svatos, the waiving of several players and a rash of injuries, Alex Kovalev remains in the mix to make the team.

MINNESOTA: At least to begin the season, it appears Matthew Dumba has made the team.

NEW JERSEY: Stefan Matteau and Mathieu Darche are both still in camp. Tom Gulittie speculates that their futures are intertwined. If Matteau doesn't make the team, Darche will likely get a contract. If Matteau does make the team, Darche may not.

NY ISLANDERS: With the return of Ryan Strome and Griffin Reinhart to juniors, it would appear long-time AHLer Colin McDonald has made the team.

OTTAWA: Seeing as he wasn't put on waivers today, it appears Andre Benoit has made the team. Rookies Mark Borowiecki, Patrick Wiercioch and Jacob Silfverberg remain in the mix and Ottawa will keep all three goalies (Anderson, Lehner, and Bishop) on the roster to begin the season.

PHILADELPHIA: Scott Laughton is playing hard in camp and may force the Flyers hand to keep him.

TORONTO: Lots of speculation that Matt Frattin will not make the team. AHL vet Mike Kostka is very much in the mix to begin the season with Toronto. Colton Orr also appears to have made the team.
