It's not outside the realm of possibility that a financially distressed organization swaps a better version of Gagner for Gagner and a draft pick. I don't know what's going on in Colorado but all signs point to distress. O'Reilly may be available for the right pieces.

If not for that the Oilers will have to sign a free agent (tough from a cap perspective) or more likely draft the 2 C they need.
