The 3rd we get for the 10th and 8th.
The leafs already have the 1st if they win the lottery and the 2nd if they dont. Since they finish last.
Even if CLB finishes below thhe LEafs they would still get DRouin for their 3rd overall.

Exactly the kind of deal CAR goes for if they are going to fill the roster for contention the next 10 years. They would love Gards. And every player fills a pot on CAR if they choose to keep them. They very least they maintain control over Gards longterm.
When was the last time CLB had a 50-60pts natural center? Grabo is a perfect fit. They have 3 1st picks. Grabo sets them ahead by 3 years.
CLB gets 2 more top 10 picks plus get to pick DRouin or anybody not named MacKinnon or Jones.
