The number games a player has played in the NHL is not an ultimate indicator of their quality.
Seriously. The hand washing and rewriting of history here now that he's gone is getting a bit ridiculous. He was better than Lovejoy, looked steady when given a chance, was a top shutdown dman in the AHL for a few years, and was still relatively young.
It's not going to cost us the Cup now or in the future, but I just can't get on board with this being the correct roster move.
