True.
Back in ATD6 (in the fall of 2006) my team had the 2nd overall spot and I passed on Howe and Hockey Outsider picked him up at the 3rd overall spot and built the championship squad of that draft.
(I had no regrets as my team became the 1st seed in the Jim Robson division, though it was upset early in the playoffs.)
There are some all-time greats I have never had the chance to draft and look forward to making part of the team, if draft position and my co-GM's judgement cohere.
