I am talking about Malik. I spoke of it a lot during the season because it was pretty noticeable. I will say this: unlike a Rozsival (or Ozolinsh) turnover, Malik's turnover didn't always generate immediate scoring chances. Malik, with his wide span, was able to recover quite often.

And when he was playing hurt or out, there was a lot else wrong with the team. Ozollinsh, for instance, was on the team. There was no second line, and Lundqvist had slowed considerably. The transition game for the Rangers this season was very good and a partial reason for the turnaround. That went across four lines and three defensive pairings. It all went to pot in March/April.
