I feel like that story isn't true...he would not have gotten the job here if that was common knowledge and that is the way he coaches. Is there an article somewhere confirming this or does your friend just have a wild imagination? I remember everything that was said about his international coaching experience was a positive and if anything, helped him get this job. If that was true I don't think they would have been so positive, especially considering the situation the Oilers are in.
