If you have one of the better top 9's in the league then how is the third line in a shambles? I mean I don't think that Gomez is the worst signing ever or that the Sharks are a bad team, I just thought that you guys had better options all around than to sign him.

My bad, I meant top 6s. The Sharks had great offensive depth a couple of years ago, but the Setoguchi-Burns trade and swapping Wellwood for a terrible Handzus cut into that a bit. If Burns comes back soon than their D will be as good and as deep as it's been in a long time, but the offense needs some tweaking.
