We miss Dubi, Prust, and Fedotenko on the forecheck. Halpern, Nash, and Pyatt are players that can forcheck too, but they're not in synch like those three were. They've been apart of this team for two games. I really think once the offense gels we'll start playing better offensively, it's only a matter of time with the talent on this roster.

The way the defense played, however, was unacceptable. I'll give 'em two games to get their playing legs, but from this point on, they have to be better. A lot of the problems this team has had the past two games stems from a bad transition, and the D is largely to blame for it. Of course, the forwards needs to make better passes and decisions on the rush, but the forwards aren't going to have the opportunity to get on the rush if the defenseman can't start the breakout.
