Key Arena can be used as a temp facility.
Back in the mid 90s Key Arena went through a remodeling project for the Sonics. these changes destroyed the sight lines and fitting a hockey rink.
The Seattle WHL team played in Key Arena until a suburban arena opened and they moved there.
Can you...sure....but there will be poor sight lines.
Another option would be in Portland at the Rose Garden.
They have 2 smaller arenas with better sight lines that the WHL teams currently play in. both arenas are under 10,000 in seating.
also the Tacoma Dome can accomodate NHL games. During the Key arena mid 90s face lift that killed the sight angles...the NBA played in the Tacoma Dome. It has a larger capacity.
