Each team can use a total of 2 cap-hit free buy-outs this coming summer and before the start of 2014-2015 season.
But since Ducks are not salary-cap team atleast in 2014-2015 season (I predict the cap will be back to levels higher than Ducks budget quite soon), I'm not sure if Ducks want to eat 2/3rds of Souray's actual salary by buying him out.
