I don't know if it came across on the TV broadcast, but the Stars were in control for much of that game. The defense was efficient and only rarely let the Wild have any meaningful time in the zone. The Stars would control the puck for 5 minutes, then the Wild would get one or two possessions in the zone. The Stars lost because they couldn't kill what was effectively a 4 on 2 situation.

My only complaint is that even with all the possession time, they didn't seem to create much in the way of high-quality chances (duh, otherwise they would've scored).

Another comment... I wonder if something was going on with Jagr. Sick or something maybe.. It seems like he was short-shifted a bunch. Loui and Roy would stay out for a full shift, but it seemed like 68 would only be out there for the first half of it..
