Lots of people go with the early flash, but I'll go with the guy who will still be playing quality minutes when Tarasenko's one dimensional game is exposed.

I watched the Oilers last night, and that Justin Schultz is the real deal. In his first NHL game he was already controlling the pace, quarterbacking the pp, and playing solid defense. That kid is a superstar in waiting.

I am not sure I have ever been as impressed by a rookie's first game in my 40 years of watching NHL hockey.

At the end of the year, he will be standing head and shoulders above all other rookies.
