Would Detroit be interested in Yannick Weber or Tomas Kaberle?

I think it's premature for the Habs to pack it in with their D. Granted, those two may not be in the long run plans for the Habs. Granted, they may not draw big returns. Granted, Detroit needs help *now*. But at the same time, the Habs have just 7D right now themselves, and that's the right number to have.
If/when Subban comes back, and if the Habs D is still healthy at that time, maybe an option to make an early deal opens up. But not now. Further along the season, towards the trade deadline, say, if the Habs are sellers, then it's a different story. But we're not there yet. I don't think management will just assume now that that's where the team is headed. (Even if it is rather likely).
