This might sound bad (don't care) but the thing that looks like it could hurt him developing wise is the Oilers look to be overwhelming him. He starts out good and then struggles more as the game goes on. Personally I hope he loses all confidence and becomes a career AHL defenseman but if he's able to round out his defensive game, he's gonna be a great player.

It's worth noting, though, that Schultz is 22 while Sbisa was 19. That's a pretty big difference.
