Why they chose Fischer. (Article translation)

I havent seen this translated in english anywhere and I think it's got some good quotes. Here is parts of the original article http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/207060.html
But there are some extra parts in the version from the Journal de Montréal.

About Fischer:
"He's a born leader, said Timmins. He played his minor hockey with Peter Mueller(8th) and Kyle Okposo(7th), two players that were picked before him. On that team, he was the leader"

Canadiens scout in Minnesota, Pat Westrum, knows him well having coached him. His wife was even his teacher at some point.

"We know him well, said Timmins. He's a special young man with alot of maturity for his age. But what's important is what he does on the ice. He's a born leader, and excelent skater, talented and tough. Exactly the type of player you look for in the new NHL. He's a verry competitive athlete. Also he's 6'4 ..." said Timmins with a smile.

Timmins added that the rules have changed and they dont hesitate to draft players from the highschool ranks. "Before you had to wait until they reached the University ranks before drafting them."

About swapping the first pick:
"We took a calculated risk by moving back 4 ranks because we absolutly wanted 2 picks in the 2nd round."
Timmins did not hide his deception seeing that Claude Giroux was drafted by the Philadelphia.
"We realy liked him. We talked alot with him. Giroux only has to work on his skating."
