I mean players get injured by the puck all the time but I can't remember the last time I heard about someone getting a broken arm from getting hit with the puck. Other injuries as a result of getting hit with the puck absolutely but a broken arm? Seems pretty infrequent.
Most players know how to keep their shots down when guys are in front. The legs are much better protected than the arms.
