Reimer and Scrivens - finding that #1?

http://storage.canoe.ca/v1/dynamic_r...y=80&size=650x

They are great friends and their wives go shopping together
But for how much longer?

-A poll as to who gets the chance to be #1 between the two would likely heavily outfavour Reimer over Scrivens, but polls can be misleading.
-They could co-exist as an effective tandem, defying many who say you need a definitive #1
-Or one stays as the backup, and the other goes elsewhere, making room for the new #1 through a trade or free agency (unless Rynnas or Owuya come out of nowhere)

But finding that true #1 never comes easy for the Toronto Maple Leafs

Randy Carlyle isn't favouring Reimer over Scrivens at this juncture. largely due to conditioning.
So it's Scrivens' big chance to show the organization what he is or isn't capable of as he gets a few more starts in the early going than expected.

Wouldn't it be nice if they could in fact co-exist as an effective tandem, with them and their wives being great friends and all?
