I would disagree with that completely. By playing the puck with his hand he prevented the players from having access to it.

So here we have two people watching the same play, and coming to two different conclusions, even after looking at the rule.

Reffing is a very difficult thing to do and while I think the game overall had some suspect calls on both teams, much of what people are complaining about were legitimate penalties that teams need to adjust to.
