PP per year
2013 - 11% PP percentage - 26th in NHL (includes 4 "5 on 3s" as well in small size of play)
2011/2012 - 16% PP percentage - 23rd in NHL
2010/2011 - 18,5% PP percentage - 18th in NHL

2011/2012 with Hobbit on PP - 24% PP percentage - 1st in NHL
2011/2012 without Frodo on PP - 15% PP percentage - 27th in NHL

I know it is a small sample size so far, but our PP is a DISASTER under Torts and so this year worse than ever. Anything that would help this should be tried. Not saying that the Hobbit would be a savior or anything, but as a PP specialist he could hardly be worse that what has been on the ice so far! We got plenty of size to go around on the team as is...
i could live with him as a pp specialist assuming there's room on the roster. i'm not sure it's a luxury the rangers could afford. but i think, in the nhl, he's not a top six guy on a good team. but he could probably be ok with some space like he'd get on the power play.
