Doesn't matter what the Habs are offering - it's what it will take to sign him that matters, which is probably in the $5M range. Oduya makes $3.4M - $1.6M less than what Subban is likely to get.

I like the idea of solidifying our top-4 D for years to come. By the time Hammer's contract is up, Leddy should be ready to take on a second pairing role.

Oduya would still provide the Habs with a pretty decent puck moving d-man. If McNeill isn't enouigh, than either add a 1st or swap out McNeill with Danault. Saad and TT are not in the equation.
