Quick story which somewhat relates to a similar knee injury. Cliff notes - As the others have said, get it checked out by a Orthopedic Doctor if you are concerned about it. Especially if it there is swelling or bruising around your knee.

I was in my early 20's I blew my knee out snowboarding. When it happened, the pain was unbearable. But after about 10 min I was able to ride the rest of the day. Flash forward almost a year later, and my knee would buckle inward from the easiest task. Finally went to a Ortho doctor who did a quick check by holding my leg below and above my knee. He was able to shift it side to side pretty easy. After an MRI turned out that my ACL was completely torn. I have had 2 surgery's on it since, being I blew it out again dirtbiking.

Anyway, guess what I am trying to say is right now it may feel alright. But there is always a chance that something more serious may have occurred. If you could swing it, get it checked out.
