Thanks for the link. I was planning on trying out Johnny Monis' place, but hadn't heard of the others.

You should really try Thai food again. It's somewhat reminiscent of Indian food in some of the preparation and ingredients (things like chilies, galangal, coconut milk, garlic, etc.), but has some different flavor profiles.

There was an article a year or so ago on CNN, where their travel staff rated the world's most delicious 50 dishes. Massaman curry was #1. That's a very good starting point for getting into Thai cuisine.
