While I believe some of that is true, especially concerning the forwards the Caps have iced so far this season, I think if you go back and look at the last great, in the regular season anyway, Caps team, '09-'10, from a talent perspective we aren't looking at any real significant gulf between that team and the 2 teams immediately afterwards, both of which Ovechkin was not anywhere close to the player he was previously.
