Intangibles are not just about hits and face-offs. When your team is in the middle of a tailspin, after giving up 3 unanswered goals and completely collapsing after starting strong, you need a player to take the puck, and make it happen. No shooting from the perimeter, no cherry picking. You make the hit, take the puck, skate the length and put the puck in no matter how you can.

Kessel creates more panic. When the team is on, and he is on, watch out. But when we face a team like the Bruins, and we are struggling, you might as well have Jay McClement out there on the first line.

And all of you that want to get a #1C, #1D and #1G and still keep Kessel, how do you suppose we do that? We could get two of those things be trading the guy. And what do we lose? An enigmatic sniper. You can easily grab on of those guys through Free Agency. Semin, Gaborik, Hossa, Cammalleri, all sign as UFA's who play like Phil, if not even better.
