In Carolina he was pretty bad, and got better with the Habs, at the end of the season he was an acceptable d-men with good PP passes. But even at his best he's behind three guys who play his game and much more.
Why are we saying he has been weak defensively this year
he's a plus 1 and hasn't been on the ice for any of the opositions goals
What else do you want

give hiim sheltered minutes as a number 5-6 / PP specialist with an adequate D partner and he will do more than fine

Not looking for much in return, a mid pick would be more than enough
