Soft and injury prone are two different things and I think that most people on these boards have forgotten that.

Hemsky goes into the dirty areas. That's the opposite of soft.

Hemsky takes the puck into the dangerous areas to get a shot off. That's not soft. An offensive players which we refer to as soft is what we call a perimeter player. Hemsky has never been accused of being a perimeter player.
