That issue is far too over blown.
Since they are a puck possession style team and because they aren't built to clog up the ice or sit back in the defensive zone, I think it's more important than most teams. Kruger, Bolland, and Shaw are less than 45%.

Anybody that isn't on Toews line doesn't get the puck too often and when that 2nd line does get out there for a favorable matchup, half the shift or more is wasted 1 to 4 times a game because they don't have anybody that is at least average on the dot.
