Now we know one thing.....placed in the same situation of Eller was last year, DD would not have made any better.

Now we excuses DD of not producing and being terrible on the ice....cause Cole has a slow start and Pacioretty is out....and a guy which have never played a match on the wings before slow things down.

And what about Eller last year???

Played with Blunden - Moen - Darche - Palushaj - Leblanc and Kostitsyn.
Only one is playing (poorly) in the NHL.
This is worst than the linesmate DD got right now

That were the linesmates of Eller last year.

There's no excuses for DD......

There's no reason not to try Eller at center with good linesmate.
NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE.

The best linesmate Eller got....was Kostitsyn....and it works!!

Eller got a bad start???

Would you be motivated if you knew that DD and Plek are in front of you.....and to see the incredible 18 years old center Galchenyuk making the team....of course not!
Umm...have people already forgotten that DD started on the bottom two lines and without 1st/2nd line wingers?
Have they also forgotten that he has produced no matter where he was in the line up? And that Eller really hasn't up to this point?
Or that Eller has played quite a bit more NHL games than DD?
Some people make it sound as if DD came into the NHL playing with Patches and Cole while Eller has only played with scrubs.
Fact of the matter is DD started at the bottom and has moved up the ranks and stole the 1st line duties.
It wasn't 'given' to him.
Sorry, last years DD would most likely have produced even with the wingers Eller has played with during the last two years (well, produced more than Eller in any case).
