Watching other teams PP's, they move the puck quickly, don't hover along the boards like Hagelin, Boyle, etc. do, and work the puck down low, opening up space for the D to move in and dragging the forwards towards them.
Either that, or they constantly feed someone with a booming shot, ala Stamkos, Ovy, Kovy, which we don't have
This is also my biggest gripe. The opposition knows meanwhile that the Rangers will try to work puck down low or on the boards and then somehow stuff it in from in front. And since we have no one-timer threath, it's easy to defend against. Most of the time it leads to one-on-one battles at the boards and then the D clears, just like you said.
I mean look at the goal Malkin scored. Who on this team can shoot like that? Nobody.
