He was a holdout, the team has been (for the most part) playing pretty well, we already have 7D called up without Subban so it's not like we need to play an AHLer if Subban doesn't play, and Subban will be matched up against the other team's top players, if he's not at 100% it could be costly. Not to mention that he probably needs a few practices to get comfortable with the system.

I would agree with what you said if we were talking about a guy like Bouillon, or Webber. But Subban is a blue chip (whatever anyone says), if he's ready you play him.
