pretty good draft for the Canes:
#12 - D Ryan Murphy - still a project but his offensive upside is just ridiculous. Very boom or bust pick.
#42 - C Victor Rask - was considered a top 10 pick at one point that season, fell off, and has rebounded nicely. PPG player in the WHL, had 5 points in 10 games with Charlotte in a 3rd line role in the AHL as a 19 year old before being returned, and had a rather nice showing in the WJCs. Could be the Canes answer long term at #3 center.
#43 - D Keegan Lowe - Having a big year with the Oil Kings for a guy that was supposed to be rather limited offensively. Brings an element of toughness to the team as well.
#73 - W Gregory Hofmann - brings a bit of a physical edge as a player and is having a much improved year offensively over in Switzerland. Likely to be brought over to the AHL after this season.
not sure if we have much of anything in Matt Mahalak or Brody Sutter, but those 4 could all be at least regulars in the NHL in some regard.
Solid B grade draft as of right now, but nowhere near the A+ that was 2010.
