I know for a fact that Lefebvre had never been Head Coach before. So yes it was kind of a chance they took with him. But as I said, his main goal is to develop prospects properly, as long as he does that, he'll keep his job IMO. Personally I couldn't care less if they win or lose, as long as the prospects when called upon are ready to help the big team.
Does being part of a winning culture not help? Let alone the experience from an AHL playoff run?
