lol... while yes, staal richards and kesler are all more proven currently, and better defensively, NONE of them have the offensive pedigree of Duchene. Kesler's 40 goal season was a flash in the pan.

not to mention:

Kesler: Age 28
Richards: Age 27
J Staal: Age 24
M Duchene: Age 22

I mean, Duchene has already had a 67 point season. Kesler has had 2 seasons over 70 points, both when he was older than 25. Jordan Staal hasn't scored more than 67 points since he was in the ******* OHL. I'll give you Mike Richards, he's a good player but his great seasons were when he was 24+

This season, Duchene has 9p (2g-7a) in 8 GP with a +8 rating, and he's the leader of all forwards in takeaways.

Not even sure why this is a poll, Duchene doesn't fit here at all. There are 3 older, established defensive centers well into their primes, and a young offensive center still finding his way on the defensive side of the puck this year. He's been PKing, he's been playing an amazing game, but he hasn't had enough time to prove that he's better than these guys. They all have many years on him, and on HFBoards, proven is EVERYTHING.
