He did say the city itself was very nice, but as you said there were not a lot of fans, although the fans that did come were great. But keep in mind in my hometown, which is tiny, we regularly drew 1k fans to HS games on the weekends. Thats quite a number for a small central ny town.

Old school hockey rink home of the old Clinton Comets (who then became the Mohawk Valley Comets of the NAHL) of the EHL. Got a ton of hockey history that the town prides itself on. Plus the beloved Ed Giacomin played for the Comets!

Its just not the same playing in Texas where the sport wasnt played until more recently.
