Well CSKA arenas hold like 5000 and the game I went to last year against Omsk it was half full and a large portion were Omsk supporters flown in.

My manager went to a game last week and same thing.

A "top end" ticket at CSKA costs about 500 roubles of about $15USD.

I think issues with Alaska might be taxation etc.

I still dont understand how the KHL works unless its a tax writeoff money cleansing exercise.

Theres no way money is being made as Russia does not have the merchandise culture that NA has and it certainly isnt gate revenues of concessions. I also cant see a lot of money being made of sponsorships as there is little market.
