He uses his body down low, stands in front of the net, takes the body, has gotten better on faceoffs. His game is by no means perfect, but then again not many 3rd or 4th liners play a perfect game. He is still young enough and if you think he is overpaid then the majority of 3rd liners in the NHL are very overpaid.

Who sits? Asham. Pretty simple. Asham isn't fighting right now. Callahan is a winger. Sit a winger. Sit Asham, even though he has played okay.
Boyle is an "in the way guy". When he's playing well he is in the other team's way stopping them from scoring. Unfortunately, his skill set is so poor that normally he is in the way of the Rangers scoring as well. His cycles invariably lead to turnovers; not setups or shots or dishes to the point. Just turnovers. The only question is how long can he protect the puck before it is taken away. And that is a problem. I think the league at large values him and he could be moved for a good pick. I would do it in a heartbeat. Being a strong guy in the locker room is not a good enough reason to keep dressing a guy who cannot and will not produce. btw, Asham has more talent with the puck in his little finger than Boyle has in his whole body. Asham needs to be integrated and he needs to dress every night. He will be a big net positive for this team if he is.
