*Shrug* time and time again Hummels bailed out the rest of the D with attack breaking tackles. He wasn't at his best today with a couple mistakes, Hummels played reasonably well today. Miles better than Merte or Howedes. I mean we're not ******** on Sakho for his mistakes today are we? And Mats clearly outplayed him as well as the german CBs today.

Our defense is just poorly organized by Loew, he loves playing a plodder in a high line who Mats has to clean up for is steadfast in his refusal to use real FBs to back up Lahm and Schmelzer. Why exactly would this not have been a perfect chance to see what Oczipka can do with the NT?

Anyway positives from the match:
Ozil is briliant, simply isn't a #10 that comes close to him right now
Khedira but in a shift, got forward well, helped us link and retain play, beautiful goal.
Gundogan, kid had an excellent game today, retaining the ball, and hit an excellent ball on Mueller's goal.
Not having another striker lead to Loew giving the strikerless formation another try. Kroos and Ozil showed good understanding after the change, swapping around in front of Gundogan-Khedira, and our attack looked much more fluid and dangerous than with Gomez up top.

Ribery again showing why he's the best winger not named Ronaldo in the world, we managed to do a decent job of containing him, but a player like him will always create danger.
