They seem to play well in spite of him, not because of him. For a while I thought that he had a pretty good system, focused on using the teams speed and young enthusiasm to get the job done. However, over the last two-three seasons I've growingly noticed that the Avs no longer seem to be able to pass...at all. Literally a few games ago I watched as McGinn...who was about 4 feet away from Barrie, touching distance away...lobbed a pass 5 foot in front of Barrie.

I don't know how Sacco runs practices, or what he even practices, but apparently it has nothing to do with actual hockey skills.
