You can only play one goaltender, so your starter is matters a lot and your backup very little.

You need 4 centers to play each game though. Having a number of decent ones is a winning strategy.

And Desharnais is the 2nd center. Plekanec is the 1st. And he is heavily outchancing the opposition while playing shutdown minutes this year, like he always does with a proper supporting cast.
