Dave Nonis of the Canucks brought this topic up as well.

Its an issue that cant be ignored. Once the UFA market settles down, I expect some trades to go down that are totally cap related. We've seen some of those kinds of deals already but I expect a higher rate of these trades once the volatile UFA market stabilizes.


This is where guys like Gainey can possibly jump on some teams.
