He works hard and finishes his hits, and it was just obviously something that happens in hockey."

We were…in the same position going into tonight, and we both needed some wins, so it was a big win. We had to battle for everything tonight. That’s one thing these guys do real well – they leave everything on the ice in Columbus. They’re a tough team to play. They forecheck hard. They pressure the puck everywhere. We came out on the winning end here, but we had to definitely work for it."

I like to take care of my own end, make the first pass and be gritty, compete hard and be tough to play against. (Is he Ready …) The Monarchs coaching staff have done a lot of work on making sure that the system is the same system that’s being worked on up here. PK, five-on-five, they try to do everything the same so it’s a seamless transition when you bump up."

Probably the biggest play in the game last night was Dubinsky leaving the game and not coming back, and Richie leaving for 19 [minutes] and coming back. That’s probably the biggest difference of the game. The strength of our team should be the strength of our centermen. And it’s not necessary that it’s been yet, but it should be. The strength of their team, a big part, was getting Dubinsky and Anisimov this summer – two centermen. So you lose one for half the game – it’s pretty significant. (On the team getting closer to where it needs to be …) We’re learning a lot about them, quite honest, because it’s a totally different group. You’re playing four defensemen that aren’t used to situations they’re in. Quite honest, it’s very similar to the team we played last night, what they’re doing. There’s a lot of growth there and a lot of little areas that you’d have preferred to have two or three more weeks with. It’s a challenge."

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER
