This. Although Anaheim noted that they have somehow liked Lovejoy for a while. Maybe that's true, who knows, maybe they were the only team that would have offered anything at all, so it might not be possible to extrapolate Weber's trade value from Lovejoy's.
The other thing Weber gives us is a cheap #7/8 again for next season. Assuming Kaberle will be gone, then Weber is "less redundant" next year. And cheap. Kinda sucks for Weber if he's not getting a chance to play and develop. But for our purposes, if we don't have anybody ready to step up and displace him, he's as good a warm body as any, and isn't likely to depreciate much relative to his current value.
